AL-PRO is an independent, internationally active and DAkkS accredited consulting firm that specializes in wind energy modeling and assessment.

Our main focus is site specific wind and yield analyses for wind farm develop-ments. We use standard linear models developed from WAsP, as well as complex, nonlinear, three-dimensional flow models and mesoscale models developed using meteodynWT to determine the regional wind regime.

While many of the projects we work on are located in flat terrain, AL-PRO is THE recognized and accepted expert in complex terrain wind flow modeling.
To provide input and keep up with the current issues and trends in the industry and to always know „how the wind blows“ AL-PRO is a member of the wind consultancy advisory board of the German Federal Association for Wind Energy e. V. - a forum of wind consultants as well as specialists and experts from institutes and research organizations.
Our core services are certified to DIN ISO 9001. In our third year of operation, we became the first wind energy consulting firm in the world to be accredited to the DIN EN ISO 17025 standard.

Our business activities include the production of high quality, professional reports and products, combined with a high degree of reliance. We are continually evaluating and updating our competencies to remain true to our motto “Quality is if a customer comes back!”.
